Anucort: Anucort is a steroid medication (hydrocortisone) used to for itching and swelling associated with hemorrhoids. When applied as a cream 2-3 times daily, it can have an effect after the first topical application or it may take up to a week to notice any difference. Some do not respond at all and it is dependent on the neture of the hemorrhoid, how long you had it, and the amount of swelling.

Depends: On how bad the inflammation and swelling is. You could feel better in a day or a week or you might not feel better at all if it is really bad

Max 5-7 days: Sometimes up to 5-7 days. If not effective by one week, please return to your physician for reevaluation. If pramoxine is added to it, the onset of relief is within the first day.
