My 3 year old daughter is currently taking antibiotics for bell's palsy and has come down with the cold. can i give her cold medicine as well?

Cold medicine: Yes you may give cold medicine as long as it does not have significant interactions with the Antibiotic. If you have any questions about the interactions of the medications please discuss it with her doctor.

Supportive Treatment: 3 yr old with "Bell's Palsy ...come down with cold". Children this age get frequent upper respiratory infections, majority caused by viruses. Colds are self-limited. Treat supportively: lots of rest & fluids, humidified air, 3 drops saline to each side nose with gentle bulb suctioning helps. Cold medicines are not safe for children under 4 yrs & doctor should be consulted 1st. See doctor if fever.
