Only blood test tell: Only your doctor and a blood test can tell you if AML has relapsed. When red spots on the skin are due to AML, it is because of a low platelet count. It is rare for that to cause only 3-4 spots. Usually they are innumerable, and more on lower legs than elsewhere.

AML: It is possible that the red spots are tiny hemorrhages related to a falling platelet count. Please have repeat haemogram as soon as possible. Exam of these red spots is essential, too.
