QTip with Vaseline: Wet a QTip with water and then a small amount of Vaseline and gently coat the inner aspect of your nose. This will keep the nares moist in dry air environments like a plane.

Nasal dryness: The lack of humidity on the airplane often causes dry nasal passages. I recommend an over the counter saline (salt water) nasal spray which you can use as needed. Also, keep well hydrated with water when flying to avoid dehydration.
