Eat well balanced: Healing a fracture takes energy: make sure you are well nourished. It also takes protein: eat plenty of lean meat, fish, nuts, legumes, dairy, or soy. Anti-oxidants/anti-inflammatories are also helpful: vitamins E and C, omega-3 fatty acids. The main minerals needed are: Calcium, zinc, phospherous, copper, silicon. Other important vitamins are: D, K, and B vitamins. Take all in safe doses!
