Myalgias: Statin drugs are known to at times cause myalgias or muscle pain. This reaction is very dependent on the person. Sometimes a doctor will check a CK level which indicates muscle injury or breakdown to determine there next course of action. Your prescriber can also choose to change to a different statin or lower the dose of the current one. Speak to your Doctor about this. Good luck!
