Atopic Asthma: Asthma and allergies are closely linked, as they are both partially autoimmune processes. The itching you experience could be eczema, which is very closely associated with asthma. Consult your doctor for proper treatment. Hope this helps!

The Link Is Allergie: Asthma is usually caused by allergic inflammation in the lungs and is closely associated with other allergic problems like eczema or hives. It is NOT autoimmune!
