Check with your doc: Usually start off with .2mg and can increase by increments of .2mg (to .4mg) and max .6mg at bedtime.

DDAVP (desmopressin) is very safe: However 0.6 mg, or 3 x 0.2mg tablets is the most worth taking because there appears to be no additional effect by taking more.

See below: The usual max dose is 3 DDAVP tablets, or 2 squirts in each nostril for the nasal spray. It is imperative that fluid restrictions be utilized in order to prevent water intoxication, seizures, etc, especially if used at max dose nightly.
