See below: His fasting glucose should never be above 126, and after eating, never above 160. If you chart his glucose, and notice that it is consistently high, he may need medication. In the meantime, a plant based diet low in processed sugars and oils, along with moderate physical activity should control his sugars. Hope this helps!
