DIABETES: It should be less than 140 mg/dl regardless of your meal or activity. But, many people remain less than 110 mg/dl depending on their meal ; activity after eating food; such as walking even for 15 minutes. In pregnancy, we check one hour postprandial and it should be less than 120 mg/dl or 6 mmol/l. In elderly type 2 patients as long as the 2 hr postprandial remains less tban 160mg/dl, it is accept.
