Not the best choice: Cilicaine is a form of penicillin. It may help with some urinary tract infections, if the germ causing them is sensitive to it. There are better choices. A urine culture would show if the germ was sensitive. Don't start any antibiotic without calling your doc first to make sure it is okay The same germ can cause either a bladder or kidney infection. It it makes it to your kidneys it is worse
