Not a problem: The reaction to poison ivy is not contagious, unless that person is carrying the plant around. You are safe in your home.

Poison Ivy: Poison ivy is spread only by initial contact. The person who gets it, has it on their hands or under their fingernails and wherever they scratch, there is a rash. You can not get poison ivy from touching the rash.
