Unlikely to be worry: Poison ivy is caused by a resin from the plant sticking to the skin and creating a contact dermatitis. Once the skin has been washed, there is not much chance the resin will rub off on other things.

No worries.: It is an oil. You could avoid places they have been or clean with gloves on. Poison ivy is uncomfortable and unpleasant, but rarely fatal. Chances are you won't get it unless you touched an area with oil.
