Late Period: Hello Fred595, The criteria for diagnosis of nonsurgical menopause (meaning menopause that is not due to sugery such as hysterectomy) is the lack of menstrual flow for 1 year. While these symptoms may potentially be a sign of early menopause, there are many other causes of late periods, including pregnancy, and if these symptoms continue I would recommend seeing a gynecologist.
