Sounds like a: gallbladder inflammation or infection. I suggest a repeat exam and the need to rule out cholecystitis , common duct stone, gastritis and pancreatitis. Cetianly call your treating physician for further diagnostic testing.

Yes: Unless you might be allergic to this medication or have a gall bladder obstruction it is OK to take this medication. I assume that your physician feels that your gall bladder is functioning normally other wise he/she would not have prescribed Urso
