It depends: It depends on the reason for the elevation. If it is HELLP syndrome or acute fatty liver, delivery is necessary for both mom and baby and should be in a high risk setting. If it is gallstones she needs her gallbladder out. There are several other possibilities. She should be cared for by a maternal-fetal medicine specialist and should follow the recommendations for her specifically.
