TMJ: An imbalance in your bite or grinding of your teeth can cause headaches. Do you wear a bruxism guard? Are you under undo stress (who isn't nowadays)? See your dentist for an evaluation of your bite.

Unrelated: Unrelated to CT scan. Your TMJ symptoms may be related to your headaches. See a TMJ expert for correlation. Any dentist can be a TMJ expert with the proper training and experience. Most commonly, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and orofacial pain specialists. Ask your MD, your dentist and your dental society for referrals.
