Feet swelling in the: Swelling of the lower extremities is common in anyone who stands all day. This is worsened in people who are overweight. Consider people as glasses of water when they stand the water goes to the feet, at night the water spreads throughout the body and when you awaken the leg swelling is gone. It is only after many hours of standing or uprightness that makes the water settle in the legs again.
