TInnitus: Ringing in the ears can have multiple causes from wax in the ears to medications or loud noise. Aspirin is the most common medication to cause tinnitus, but others can cause it. Hearing loss is also a cause of ringing, and that can be caused by loud noise exposure or even wax in the ears. You may want to see an ENT doctor for an exam if the ringing is bothersome.
