A member asked:

I was told that i have a kidney stone. was kept in hospital for observation. moderate pain in upper left abdoman. not much change. when will it pass?

Kidney stone: It is not possible to determine how quickly a stone will pass. It depends on many factors such as the size and how well hydrated you are. Hopefully Flomax (tamsulosin) was prescribed that speeds up the passage if the stone. Remain well hydrated and make sure you flow up with a urologist. Good luck!
