It's normal: After ovulation as egg is released so called corpus luteum starts secreting progesterone which is associated with thick white discharge. It prepares uterus for a possible pregnancy and happens regardless whether it occurred or not. Sometimes, after pregnancy there is increase in progesterone secretion and this can be associated with more abundant white discharge.
