Decongestant: Temporary use of inhaled oxymetazoline (Afrin) for 3 days or oral pseudoephedrine (sudafed) will provide temporary relief for virus (cold) symptoms. If allergic, nasal steroid spray and antihistamine may also help. Gentle saline nasal irrigations can also help. If symptoms persist, see your physician.
