Not likely.: It's unlikely that your symptoms are related to UC. Just below your knee is a bony bump called the "tibial tuberosity." This is where the tendon of one of the four parts of your quadriceps muscle attaches to the tibia or leg bone. Overworking the quads muscle can cause inflammation right there. Acetaminophen, ice and limiting walking, running & stairclimbing for a few days should help.
