Contact dermatitis: The most likely would be contact dermatitis (such as poison ivy or oak). Of course you would have had to have an exposure outside to leaves, vines or smoke where these would be burning. If the blisters are large and you are ill and have been on other meds lately, then something else is going on and more urgent to be seen. The shingles would not behave this way. Claritin (loratadine) or benadryl/Hydrocortisone
