Depends on what toe.: The great toe needs eval & imaging so it can B Rx'd properly. 4 the other toes if it looks like a toe compared 2 the others, buddy taping with cotton between it & the adjacent is usually enough. If it looks funny, overlapping the others or points up or down or twisted, again here U need eval & imaging as it is displaced & may need surgical care. C an ortho foot & ankle fellowship trained.

Broken toes: Depends on the severity of the fracture. An x-ray should be taken to assess injury. Treatment can be as simple as splinting the fifth toe to the adjacent fourth toe. A more complicated fracture may necessitate closed or open reduction that would need to be performed by a professional.
