Relatively safe: Aquaphor is a very good moisturizer for cracked or dried skin. Recommend putting it on after breastfeeding thus allowing it to dry before next feed. Before next feed, wipe your chest with a towel to remove any potential residue as an added precaution. Also consider seeing a lactation counselor for help with cracked/irritated skin/nipple to ensure proper lactation technique.
