See your doctor: exertion can trigger asthma attacks as well as precipitating heart failure (which is a lot less common). You need to see your physician. Sometimes, asthma symptoms may be a lot more subtle than the classic wheezing, but may show up on tests. If present, then you should use an inhaler when you may have sex. Heart function can be easily tested and ruled in or out.
