Fever and body aches: Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Ibuprofen are equally effective for reducing fever. Ibuprofen has anti-inflammatory properties as well which can be beneficial for certain conditions. Both may be viable options for you, assuming no allergies or contraindications. You may also need to be tested for strep throat, which would require antibiotics for treatment.
