Newborn: A 17 day old baby gets tired easily when feeding ,hence may need frequent feeds likely every hour or 2 hourly. You may pump and see how much you produce . 2 -3 oz of milk every 2-4 hrs is good for the baby. And if he is gaining good weight , your milk is sufficient .

Crying: Babies cry and it doesn't always mean that they are hungry - it is how they communicate. Did you take her to her 2 week checkup? At this visit the pediatrician would check her weight and make sure she was back up to her birth weight. If she is gaining weight as expected, you can rest assured your breast milk is enough. BF babies want to eat often (sometimes every hour), this is also normal.
