Fat into muscle: If you look slimmer, but weigh the same, you may be converting fat tissue to muscle tissue, with exercise and better food choices. Muscles are more dense then fat, so, they take up less space, for the same weight.

Weight loss: Well, it seems that the scale is telling you the truth because it is saying that you're not losing weight. And the best way to see if you're losing weight is to look at the scale. However, external factors such as a different haircut, a different wardrobe, etc. can change your appearance and make it seem like you're losing weight to other people.
