How long will a broken bone hurt? i broke my ulna 2 weeks ago and it still hurts. it is a clean break that did not need to be set but is in a cast.

Is cast too tight?: Sometimes, there is swelling after a cast is applied. Such swelling can be serious and cause ongoing pain. Generally, if your broken bone is casted correctly, there is not much pain on a non-weight bearing area. Are you using your arm too much or putting strain on it? Have you reinjured it? If not, please see your bone doctor in 24-48 hours. Make sure to say you are having pain!!! Good Luck
