It depends: It depends on what it is prescribed for & how your doctor prescribed it to be taken. If it is prescribed for eg hypertension or heart disease it is usually meant to be taken every day. Sometimes they are prescribed on an as needed basis eg for palpitations. They can make some people feel slow or sluggish, this should be discussed with your doctor for a dose adjustment or an alternative medication.
