How is it that i am 14weeks pregnant an bby measures at 14 weeks when dating pregnancy you arent pregnant the first two weeks?

Due date: The dating for pregnancy is based on your last period and when you ovulate. With a normal 28 day cycle, you would ovulate on day 14 (2 weeks) and miss your period 2 weeks later (4 weeks pregnant). The ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy 2 weeks later would place you at 6 weeks.
