Cancer fears: Focus on leaving a healthy lifestyle: eating a diet if high fiber, complex carbs, protein, fruits and vegetables. Avoid fatty, greasy, fried foods and junk food. Drink 6-8 glasses of water and exercise 30 minutes daily. Avoid tobacco and alcohol.

Anxiety or stress is: bad for your body. Worrying will not help. What you should focus on is keeping your body healthy. Eating right, exercise, and reducing your stress is critical. Talk with your doctor on what else you can do to reduce your risk. Also remember if you were to get cancer, many are curable or treatable. Hope that helps

Cancer risk: There are many ways to predict your risk of getting cancer. Certain cancers have genetic predispositions while others are caused by toxins or environmental exposures such as cigarettes or asbestos exposure. I would discuss these risks with your health care provider and possibly seek a genetics consultation to help you determine your possible risk for the cancers that have affected your family
