Go to the ER: This kind of pain can be many different things.Vomiting and abdominal pain can range from a stomach virus, ulcer, gastritis and many more. It sounds like he needs an evaluation.

This is unusual: You need to specify how long this has been going on. Is there anything that has brought this on. How frequent does this occur. It does appear to be GI in nature as this area is involved is the bowel . Which one is not clear.and may however be the small bowel. If your husband has had this and nothing has helped he then needs a complete evaluation by his doctor. maybe a gastroenterologist.
