Self-destructive?: Laws vary between nations/states but generally if a person is in immediately life -threatening situation &demonstrates impaired judgment, they can be involuntarily hospitalized for short period until judge decides if they're capable of making informed choices. If someone has lost life-threatening amount of weight and shows poor insight to the problem, then they can be held against their will.
