Several: Ovarian cysts, endometriosis or fibroid (benign) tumors can cause worsening pain with periods. Cervical polyps can cause bleeding after sex but does not cause pain. Infections can cause bleeding after sex as well. You need to see your doctor and get a pelvic exam to determine the cause.
