Severe pain: Testicular torsion cuts off the blood supply to your testicle and this universally causes severe pain as the testicle starts to die from lack of blood flow. There are other causes of severe pain, and other exam findings of torsion, so you should be evaluated as soon as possible in an emergency department if you are having severe pain.
