Yes: Testicular torsion is a medical/surgical emergency. Torsion refers to a twisting of the testicle on its own blood supply, effectively cutting off oxygen to the testicle. It needs to diagnosed quickly and treated quickly to prevent testicular death. It usually presents with sudden pain in the scrotum with discoloration and swelling. Go to the emergency room if you think you have a torsion.

No cure but ...: No cure since it comes with life. Timely surgical management with fixation or testis removal is mandatory to save affected testis and prevent recurrent torsion in the affected side and opposite side.
