Tough case: Chronic pelvic pain is one of the more difficult diagnoses to pin down. If it is cyclical (worse with periods) then consider endometriosis as a likely possibility. You might need a laparoscopy to make the diagnosis, as ultrasound is often not helpful. Other possibilities are urinary tract, bowel, or musculoskeletal related pain. You may need to see several docs to be sure. Good luck with this!
