Depends: An ultrasound at around 8 weeks is accurate to within 3 or 4 days. By 10 to 12 weeks the accuracy of the ultrasound has dropped to about 7 to 10 days. The later in the pregnancy the ultrasound is done, the less accurate is the result. After 28 to 39 weeks, the ultrasound is only accurate to plus or minus 21 days.
