Blood test: have you had blood test done? have you had an EKG done? did they rule out any other causes of your elevated hear rate? If you feel palpitations you can be started on beta blockers to decrease the heart rate and make you feel more confortable

Heart rate: Regular heart rate varies from 60-100. It really depends on you current state of health and your genetics. I would be concerned with heart rates lower than 60 or higher than 100 with symptoms like chest pains, dizziness, light headed spells. or shortness of breath. Consult your physician if you have any of this.

Heart rate and weigh: High heart rate and failure to gain weight in context of "defect" (?disease process) could indicate hyperthyroidism--thyroid is a gland at base of neck that controls metabolism. Unclear from your question, but if you have thyroid problem causing elevated heart rate and failure to gain weight, this will need to be managed with medication or surgery. Again, not clear if this is what you have.
