Yes: Yes, if the pills are ineffective for your BV the gel will be as well as they both contain the same active ingredient. This may not always be the case as the natural flora (bacteria) in the vagina can change over time. It is quite possible that in the future the resistant bacteria will be overtaken by other non resistant bacteria and if this occurs again Flagyl may be effective.
