Sleep disturbance: Its extremely unlikely that your "poor sleep" is due to seizure activity that occurs while you sleep and thats the only symptom. The sleep study will help dx sleep apnea or restless leg etc. If your doctor suspects seizure, an EEG would be more diagnostic. At your age, pay attention to your social habits such as smoking, drinking, drugs, diet as well as airway obstruction.

Maybe asymptomatic: Can I assume you had a normal EEG? If someone has seizures during sleep, he may never know it. Morning grogginess and daytime sleepiness may be the only symptoms. If the seizure involves abnormal movement, the sleeping partner may notice something. Keep in mind that there are many causes of poor sleep besides seizures. I wish you well.

Depends: If you indeed are having seizures while sleeping, there may be no symptoms or symptoms of grogginess, confusion upon wakening. Would also depend on the type and location of seizure. Sleep study will reveal much information.
