Swollen ear lobe: Did you recently have trauma to the ear? If so, look up "cauliflower ear" on the Internet to see if your ear has a similar appearance. Cauliflower ear is bleeding within the ear lobe tissue that requires a minor surgery for drainage by your primary care physician. An inflamed, fat ear lobe can also be from an infection that is resistant to the current antibiotic, which also needs to be checked.
