Consider ...: Depending on the person and symptoms he/she may have, it's not clear that sludge always causes problems. But it would be prudent to consider some lifestyle choices that a person with known gallstones would undertake, including maintaining a healthy weight, if overweight losing weight slowly(1-2lbs/week) and not skipping meals. All these things appear to prevent gallstone formation. Good luck.
