Good idea not to: the important reason not to eat is so that during the procedure you do not become nauseated and throw up food making you move during the procedure or aspirate the food into your lungs. It is better to be safe than sorry. Your physician may have other reasons so to maximize the results from the biopsy but the nausea and throwing up are great reasons to stop eating after midnight
