Toothpaste may be less expensive than some facial blemish treatments, but each are specifically made for specific areas of your body. Healing: As you found out, toothpaste should only be used on your teeth and gingiva (gums) and not on your face and skin. It sounds like the skin is healing and it might help if you put some face lotion on it to keep is moist. If you have further concerns, you should see a dermatologist.
