Mild hypothyroid: This indicates a mild hypothyroidism. You may or may not have any symptoms. I would recheck this lab in a week or two or consider drawing thyroid antibodies before committing you to treatment.

You have mild: hypothyroidism, which should be treated with BRAND NAME T4 replacement until your levels have normalized. Check w/your doctor.

Mild: Hi. You have subclinical hypothyroidism. That is to say you have mild (so far) damage to the thyroid gland that with a little extra "push" from the pituitary (slightly elevated TSH) is still able to keep T4 and T3 (liothyronine) production in the normal range. Nevertheless, the damage to the thyroid (most likely autoimmune) will progress. You should be treated now. Good luck!
