Typically you get: more crusting with initial fraxel as there is more pigment present at the earlier sessions. Lower energy would also lead to less crusting. You should talk with your doctor. Recommend you get lasers in doctors office with a doctor that is fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery for safety. And doctor should do or be present at all treatments!

They vary a lot: There is so much variation on what happens after laser skin treatments, it's hard to generalize. You'll get more effect with a higher amount of energy (that's for wrinkles, tattoo removal, etc) but with a higher likelihood of skin damage signs (redness, irritation, etc.). Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particulars; esp skin issues.
